Tests & Commissioning
The FAT (factory acceptance test) takes place to release the customer system delivery in the respectively good tested conditions.
The FAT includes a.o.:
- Documents and schedule check
- Manufacturer’s documentation check and in-house test reports
- Mechanical and visual inspection
- Wiring and connection inspection
- System run test
- Inspection of other system functions including hardware, redundancy and diagnostic test etc
- Functional check according to e.g. predefined typicals, function design descriptions and cause-effect tables
- Test of the interfaces to subsystems
- FAT punch lists
- FAT final reports
After the installation / IQ and in combination with the commissioning / SAT / OQ a site integration test (SIT) can be carried out if it´s required. The test demonstrates that the delivered system within its target operating environment is working perfectly with external interfaces and equipments in accordance with the specification and the installation instructions.
All steps of the plant commissioning are recorded in a written acceptance report, which is subsequently signed by the client and Logix Automation GmbH
